Did not finish book. Stopped at 17%.

It’s too long too repetitive and not very engaging. It’s a chore just got get through even though the chapters are short and easy to read.

Idk how to feel about this, I guess ambivalent. It’s nicely written but idk. It was a fast read yet it was a chore to read like I wasn’t picking it up bc I liked it I was just trying to finish it.

That was a rough read., there some moments that I wasn’t sure I could get thru it. Her writing style is excellent even with the heavier topics at hand or heavier moments. She knows how to pull you into a story and make you sit with that uncomfortableness.

I had to claw crawl & fight my way thru this book just to finish it (& imma be real chief I started skimming by pg 300), this book should have been cut down by at least 150 pages just useless shit. I can’t believe so many trees were senselessly murdered to publish this book that’s a crime against humanity. Deserved 0 stars I should be allowed to give it negative starts like -100000/10 bc it sucked so bad.

truly love gege explaining these things & I still don’t get it but that’s fine. also like don’t be bringing math into this I’m bad at math lol. new archnemesis unlocked with jogo like idky but the first time I saw his ass (in the anime) I’ve become one of his biggest haters.

I really love the way James Baldwin writes, just he can get me to stop and read for a while bc the way he writes pulls you in. His essays are exceptional and great to read.

The absolute violence Hiromu Arawka is putting me thru even tho I know what happens bc I’ve seen the show it’s still too much. Also once again scar has never done anything wrong and he’s right thank you.
