Constant plot twists.
Believe Me is one of those books that, even though you can’t connect and understand the main character, you still enjoy it.
The book starts with Claire,an actress from England, that starts working for an attorney as bait to catch cheating husbands.
Even that prospect was really insteresting to me,as I had never read anything like that before.
Claire is hired from a woman to bait her husband into confirming he’s cheating on her. But after meeting him Claire is confused, because to her,he doesn’t seem like the villain of this story.
She starts working with the police to locate a murderer.
After that, chaos ensues, Claire is locked into a psychiatric hospital and learns that everything she knew was a lie.But this isn’t the end.
Plot twist after plot twist, this novel builds up to a pretty satisfying end that made up for how confused I was in certain parts.
I really suggest picking this up,it’s a one-sit read because you simply can’t put it down! Good job J.P Delaney!
