Very realistic and interesting work of fiction, definitely a page turner with pretty good writing and an intriguing plot as well as well written characters. Was a light and engaging read.
It was pretty interesting, learning about what goes on behind closed doors is always somewhat of an attractive theme. It was a very light and quick read, the book talks to the audience in a casual tone making it a calm and easy read. We are pushed to feel sympathetic towards Britney and we are shown how fame can be a double edged sword especially in terms of freedom, relationships and autonomy. She describes her loss of self, the identity crisis she experiences and her road to self discovery through Religion, self respect and growth.
This book is an absolute masterpiece, I have never read something so beautiful before in my life, not only is it educational and eye opening, it is also so real and emotional. I’ve learned so much and I can’t even begin to express how emotional it was. I highly recommend.
The story on it’s own was good, very interesting and reflective, quite relatable. Though there were a lot of blatantly racist moments that were quite off putting.
