I've now read this book twice inside a month because I fell in love with the series and just want to keep inhaling it.

I refuse to look at this book remotely critically bc it gave me so many things I wanted and made me cry like a BABY for like 20 min after I finished it. Worth it.

This book is hard to read, but in a way that made me want to keep eating the words. The characters are strong and multi-dimensional. The story arc will leave you questioning many things and might even surprise you.

Baru is complex to say the least, single-minded, and probably autistic. You'll probably love her, but you'll hate her for it.

A solid continuation of the series and FINALLY getting back to the premise started in book one.
