i can’t believe i’m about to say this, but tripp and dex may no longer be my favorite puckboys couple. this was SO much fun and  i would absolutely take a puck to the face for miles, no questions asked.

he won me over from the beginning with his little friendship bracelets(how PRECIOUS), and his perfectly weird goalie ways. i loved that he was so supportive of his queer “bros” (this word was used so many times in this book it kind of no longer feels real to me) and how honestly very little of a freak out he had when he realized that cody was actually his man. i loved how miles’ coming out was handled and how non-angsty it was.

and cody. sweet, sweet, affection starved cody. i enjoyed him so much in previous books and i was thrilled to see him get his own story and it did not disappoint. seeing him fall for miles (and spoiler alert: NOT propose), figure out who he really was and become a full fledged member of the collective was the best journey.

and as always, seeing the other members of the collective pop up throughout the story is just a delight. they’re some of my favorite characters, and i always love revisiting them. miles and cody are just so stupid (complementary) and sweet and affectionate and i loved every bit of their journey together. i’m obsessed with this series and that was a perfect addition!

a huge thanks to foreword pr, eden finley and saxon james for bestowing this gem of a story on my early for an honest review.

I had no idea what I was getting into with this one, oh boy.

Like every other jilted ex-Supernatural fan, I knew this was going to be a must read. The lead's name is Misha, like. Come on. I was not disappointed, lots of little SPN nods throughout (especially the "agents") that angered me all over again.

I'm not a horror reader, but I couldn't put this one down. I had to know what was actually going on and how the hell Misha was going to get out of it.

The gore was gross as hell, but not too much for me to have to stop and I'm a huge baby. I loved the journey Misha went on, particularly the little heartfelt moments he found himself having in the midst of all the horrible-ness.

A stark look at the way queer people's stories are commoditized and exploited when they'll make a profit and ignored or buried when they won't, Bury Your Gays kept me guessing and enraptured from the start. A gross, endearing win from Chuck Tingle.
