I thought this book was fascinating. It's a collection of letters written by Gary C. Halbert. Gary was a man who was really good at marketing, in some of the greediest ways possible. These letters were written, while he was in prison for 10 months, to his youngest son, Bond. He proceeds to spend 25 letters giving his son a lot of advice about a lot of different things. Primarily about marketing, but also genuine advice that he wanted to impart to his son about how best to live a fulfilling life. At approx. 150 pages, I read it in an afternoon. Supposedly (according to Bond in the Foreward), this is a cult classic among marketers, but even if you don't have any interest in marketing, it's a fascinating window into the mind of a man who led a fascinating life.
