I literally love this book so much. The atmosphere is amazing, the magic and world building is superb, the stakes are high and the action is great, as are the smaller, quieter moments between the characters. They are some of my favourite characters to exist, and will forever hold a place in my heart. Their backstories are so detailed and heartbreaking, and the way they go together is just amazing. Love this little found family so much.

I enjoyed this enough, and it has good bones. If you turn your brain off to read this could be enjoyable, my brain unfortunately did not switch off. The pacing was a little all over the place for me (especially the pace of the romance), and overall the book was too dialogue heavy for me. There was also random hints at side plots that may have been dropped that just felt unnatural. But I thought the found family was really sweet, and the motivations behind the mcs were solid.

Again, that’s totally just my preferences coming through, so if it sounds up your alley (and the negatives don’t scare you off) give it a go.

Again this book was surprisingly super sweet, romantic and genuinely emotional. Yeah it was spicy, but the way Rath writes these characters to become emotionally vulnerable with one another and slowly (or suddenly) fall in love, it’s honestly commendable. The relationships felt very believable to me, only thing is the pacing in here wasn’t my favourite, especially towards the end. I also enjoyed how much hockey is in this hockey romance, I feel like often sports romance don’t focus on the sport, but there is plenty of time spent focused on the hockey. Definitely recommend if it sounds like your thing.

I’ve read this series before and loved it, but for some reason this book has made me put it down for a long time both times I’ve read it. I inhale the first few books and then this one makes me pause. Idek why, I still love the series, but I don’t think this one is the strongest one. UGH BUT THE CHARACTER PROGRESSION IS SO GOOOODDDD. Anyways I’m back in it now after like…a year hah…

I really enjoyed this!!! Was kinda basic in some parts, and didn’t love the pacing in others, but the characters and the premise are just so dang fun. Also was super easy to read and get sucked into the world. Definitely keen for the next one!!

This was a really gorgeous graphic novel! The story and mystery were compelling, as were the relationships in here, if only slightly underdeveloped. Only thing is, as usual w graphic novels, the pacing was too fast for me. I absolutely loved the colour pallet in here tho, and definitely recommend.

This was fabulous. The spice was spicying in this one, and ugh the soft love shown in this book was beautiful. Absolutely adored the relationship between the kids and the fmc. Great fun for sure. I think there was something just a bit off with the pacing, and with the third act conflict, just wasn’t entirely my fav. But I still adore Elsie silver and will be adding this to my physical collection for sure.

This was stunning!!! The use of colour in the storytelling was sublime, and I’m in awe of how so much was conveyed with so few words. What a wonderful depiction, so glad to have read it.

Erm…this was good? I thoroughly enjoyed the conversations about faith in here, and I like how the relationship developed between the two main characters. Some of the pacing wasn’t my favourite, and some moments the writing style wasn’t for me. Shoutout the narrator of the audiobook tho, very well done.
Overall an enjoyable read but I’m unsure if I’d rave about it.
