Liz does it again ugh I’ve been hit in the feels. This book was so beautiful, I absolutely adored all the characters.

I loved that Miller was completely her own person with her own dreams and aspirations, and her journey throughout was gorgeous. Loved Kai as well, his dedication to his son was so cute. Only thing was some of the character decisions and communication bothered me. Yes they were probably realistic to people being stupid IRL but idk some of them didn’t sit right with me. Also felt a little long for me, particularly in the beginning half but that’s a very minor complaint and shouldn’t detract from anyone wanting to give this book a go.

Heaps of found family in here which is my absolute soft spot. Overall really loved it and can’t wait for the next one.

Thought this was a satisfying enough ending to the series, with some of the plot twists having been built up over the three books. I do wish more of the ending followed this ‘established and well-hinted at’ trend as some of the information we learn felt more out of the blue than I would’ve liked.
But overall enjoyed the series and will continue reading Tate James’ work bc jfc she puts smt good in her writing haha.

Another great addition to the series. Keen to find out what happens next.
Still not as in love w these characters as in the rest of the shadow grove crew but they’re warming on me.

Tate James puts something in her books bc holy moly I eat them up. This was so addictive, the tension throughout just really encourages you to keep reading and see how things turn out.
So far I’m finding these characters a bit less compelling than the hades and MK crew, but I’m sure once we get to know them that will change.
Be prepared for a cliffhanger tho omg.

This was a super cute historical romance and defs recommend if the synopsis sounds up your alley.
It’s filled w angst n pining but it’s closed-door.
The ending was not my favourite, to me it was a little rushed and felt incomplete, but overall I did enjoy my reading experience.
Also appreciated the message of the book about choosing to love one another every day, very cute.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

It was such a beautiful exploration of sexuality and identity discovery, and really empathised with the teenage experience. Although I’m no longer a teenager, I really appreciated that it didn’t belittle the teen experience, and instead the novel acknowledges what it feels like to be in that time of your life, and that your feelings and self discovery during that time is valid.

Having said this, some of the conflict felt over-drawn out, and perhaps that’s because I’m not a teenager nor was I ever into drama but it just felt like a bit much for me personally.

This story is not one you see told very often, and is more about the value of discovering your identity and what it means to you, and how your friendships play into that, more than about romantic relationships. The representation in here is incredible and it made me cry, especially towards the end, healing my little queer heart.

Definitely recommend to any queer people out there, or anyone struggling with any aspect of their identity and feeling ‘enough’. I particularly think this would be a phenomenal read for the target audience of probably 15-18 year olds. So so beautiful.

Miscommunication be miscommunicating in this book holy. Was a sweet story with a cute premise but idk just wasn’t my favourite.
Felt like the pacing was a bit weird, particularly in the latter half.
I did think it was super atmospheric though and I liked the writing style, I just think the fmc wasn’t my favourite.
If it sounds up your alley, give it a go.

I had so much fun reading this series. Sometime about them just rlly suck you in and keep you engrossed.
This one was much more graphic than the others, so definitely check triggers warnings.
The ending felt a little anticlimactic to me personally, but I’m glad it all ended up okay. And omg that one part at the end melted my heart.
Adored the relationship development between everyone, but especially enjoyed seeing the boys settle into their friendship too. Overall gonna miss this series and defs recommend to why-choose and dark romance fans.

It’s been ages since I read the first two books but this one hit for some reason. So fascinating, I adore political intrigue so this was great. Also enemies to lovers that are actually enemies??? Best time.
Some things wrapped up in ways that weren’t my favourite, the ending isn’t what I had expected but it was pleasant at least.
Overall a fun series, i don’t remember why I rated the earlier ones the way I did.
