My favorite hot hole!
Now I know not everyone will be fond of this book, but I certainly was. I am not a fan of age gaps but after reading this book I do not mind it anymore. From the office banter to the bedroom I was intrigued throughout this entire book.
I loved Edie as a character. For such a young girl who has a lot on her plate, she handles it all so well. Her character development was not a lot as she was such a mature person already. Her love for luna had me enthralled from the start!
As for Trent, he is definitely someone who has to grow on you, from his quiet and broody personality to his dilf attitude he is a good character. As he comes from a troubled past making his way to being a successful businessman, he holds a lot of baggage. Though he has a 4-year-old he is still adjusting to fatherhood as he has a difficult time with Luna, until Edie comes in.
Both Edie and Trent have chemistry from the start and watching it unravel was a delight. There is a major plot twist in the book that I did not see coming that definitely kept me on the edge of my seat. This book is a solid 10/10 from me from the steamy scenes to the heart-wrenching ones I loved it all.
