I didn’t think I was going to enjoy the book, but I did. I ended up listening to the audiobook instead of finishing the physical copy and that kept me on edge throughout the entire story and wanting to listen for more. If I could show you the way my jaw was dropping at any moment in the book, I would. I see that the second book has Frances going France and hearing that one last letter from Finn, I’m scared and excited for more in the Witch Hunt.

God, I don’t know which one like better. One thing I can say is that I listened to the audiobook and read along with it and I adored Kaz’s voice actor. I liked how he would add in chuckles when it got to a specific character. I’m also glad that Wylan had some character development.

I wasn’t a huge fan of the verse and the back and forth between the past and present. I also wish that we have gotten an aftermath of the ending instead of immediately going back to the past
