This is a strange one to rate because it almost felt like a draft. I felt like there were a lot of elements that felt underdeveloped, and that we needed more time at the end to wrap things up. I'm so sad because I love Tahereh Mafi and I wanted to love this book, but sadly it fell short in a lot of ways for me.
