I know a lot of people love this and I definitely really enjoyed it but it felt very jumpy, like scenes would jump from one thing to the next and I didn't always understand how things connected.

This volume was significantly better than the first one, we get more of the MC's backstory and I feel like the love interest is sick with something, which is maybe why she gravitated towards the MC so quickly.

I read through this in one sitting and I was questioning reality the entire time, because I didn't know what parts were in his "movie" or what parts actually were occurring in his life. But it was such an emotionally rich story about grief and asks readers to think about how they would want to be remembered.

The first half of the book was really good and had me intrigued, but the last 1-2 pages of the "adolescent" chapter had it taking a turn and I HATED it after that.

The book was slow-paced at first and gave a lot of background on the friendship between the main characters, but I wanted it to hurry up and get to the present. I felt the same way when Hendrix seemed to ramble randomly at times and I just wanted to get to the point.

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because I thought the
Lottery bit
was strange and random.
