Time jumping pov was well done. Easy read and small set of characters so easy to follow.
Alone in the rain happening on a body near by… I’d stay clear but hey Emma and David are all about it.

I would have preferred a bit more lean into David’s story and leaving the book on a cliff hanger setting us up for another novella with a deep dive into Emma’s story.

Over all a solid novella.

I fell in love with the MC's. Sadly, this book lacks the plot I'm looking for. It's plays heavily on the miscommunication trope and towards the end if felt like Colin was being used for his queerness not just a quality of him.
He found a perfect match in Truly though. Cause F*** that ex man...
STEAMY romance for sure! Tension is great. Chemistry is great. Just misses the mark for my current reading habits.

Found family has saved so many souls and Marin is no exception. Loss and grief hit everyone differently and in waves. You never know when it's subsided or when it will flare. To think your only family never existed or wanted you is a monumental feeling.
I wasn't a huge fan of the ending as the resolution didn't feel... resolved. Still a very poetic read.

Loved. These interconnected stories were worked flawlessly. The concept of sins getting round in a small town is spot on. Coming from a place like this couldn't be easy and for sure makes me want to live in a bigger town! Drugs, Crimes, Death, and real life obstacles mixed in this was a huge hit for me.

Poor Jason. lol
Middle of the road for me. I wouldn't call this twisty in the sense of I was surprised. Decent storyline and showing that you can't blindly trust family. Going to give the author another chance as I did like the flow!

Even though I knew what was going to happen I was still in tears mid way through! My only complaint is how quickly folks seem to get pregnant and just keep going like it's nothing. Solid ending and glad we got another POV.

Very informative mixed with what seems to be a personal account. I really liked the balance and blend of the two.
A great read if you want a deeper look into psychedelics and the pain the government always causes.

This was not my personal cup of tea. It wasn't a terribly long book but it took me quite a while to get through. The story itself was capturing, but it could have been wrapped up 100 pages sooner and nothing would have been lost.
A good mystery with loads of description

So sad. Two former friends and a struggle of addiction. It took the MC a long time to realize just how much some people loved her and by then she was in a hole. Loved the diversity in the book but overall felt a bit too flat for me and the best friend addition wasn't progressing the book for as much as it was talked about.

You can feel the pace of this book from the jump. A refreshing look at the lives of teen girls finishing high school. A place they love to be turned into a memorial of sorts. You can never forget where you came from and it will change you.
