This started out so cute and then I couldn't quit laughing and giggling. The interaction between Wade and Marina was the best. We all have been in a position where we tried to avoid our ex and something embarrassing happening. I didn't like Lydia from the start, but as the book continues my liking for her didn't change. I was so hoping for the book to go in the direction it did. I was bouncing up and down by 75 percent. I just loved the ending.  I loved that the book included and talked about antiques and the love of historical items. It is nice to see a change in the environment even in books.

The emotions. I need to take a few hours maybe days to even grasp everything I have felt. I didn’t even know I needed to read this until it was done but it was the perfect book for today. The emotions I felt, the tears I cried, the cliffhanger of the ending. The plot twist before the cliffhanger. If that isn’t enough emotions within the last part of the book then don’t let me even start with the rest. I love Brook. Brooke is a totally strong FMC. She is hellfire in more ways than I had expected. Chase is my typical book befriend. Hot, dark, and oh so dirty. Nate is so sweet but I could see another side to him. Asher sounds drop-dead gorgeous, Harper is one lucky witch. lol, not a witch. I would love more about Asher. I feel like his story could be a series. Jax is so smart but I feel like he was hidden within the background which usually means his story is going to be amazing when it comes.

I want to say so much more but I do not want to give spoilers away because you just have to read this. Will Brooke finish her mission? Will things continue with Chase? How will this affect her and her family? Will she be okay? Will two wrongs make a right? Will two people find each other in the darkness with no light left to see with? Book two cannot be here fast enough.

5 star. 3 spice. 4 tears. I recommend it to all my ladies who just need an amazing palette cleanser because this will be my go-to recommendation from now on. 18+

I love being able to have the back story of Lucie and Lucas’s first week together. This book has some details in it to help with the story. It is lot and lots of hot spice. I mean 4-5 chilly peppers full of spices.

I love Lucy and Lucas relationship. All wrapped up in each other. This is a 64 page novella.

I didn’t read the whole book. I only read Albatross by YD LA MAR. Wow. Where do I start? I honestly didn’t know what I was going to be reading other than it was a monster romance. I am not saying it was bad at all. I was confused for about six chapters but honestly going back over it, I believe that was the point. I do not want to give away spoilers but the monster isn’t a monster, it is a daemon. That should help you through the parts I was confused on. It is sick and twisted but with a HEA (sorta). It depends on which way you look at it. The actually story would be an HEA but thinking outside the box could change that a little bit. It really honestly is making me think about things differently than I have ever thought before. I am adding the rest of the books into my TBR list. If you are looking for dark monster romance then this is a perfect mix of authors and their books. 18 plus and viewer discretion advised. Read the trigger warning before reading.
