📚 This was a cute book with two flawed but likeable MCs. The conflict was a good one and provided a bit of action. Both MCs come to the table with a lot of baggage but they are able to improve themselves and each other. Technically this book is part of a series (The Duke Undone, The Runaway Duchess, A Shore Thing) but you can read each of them as a standalone. The first two books are semi related but this one can be read without the context of the other books.
🎧 3rd person dual POV. Mary Jane Wells narrates the whole thing, and as always, does a bang up job of it.
🌶️ 3.5/5 There are only like 2-3 explicit scenes and they are very detailed but also vanilla.
🏳️🌈✊ The FMC learns that two side characters are lesbians near the end of the book. One side character is revealed in the next book to have been a trans man, but we don't know that yet in this book. Not much racial/cultural diversity.

This was a solid Diana Quincy read, with expected diversity and human problems as well as aristocratic complications. I think this book leaned a little too hard on the miscommunication trope, as it reared its head multiple times.
🎧 Both narrators were very good. Dual POV, 3rd person.
🌶️ 4/5 There were multiple explicit scenes, plus dirty talk.
🏳️🌈✊ The FMC is Arab American in England. There's not much other diversity though.

I love this author's work and this was another good one. I like that she writes realistic characters and obstacles. The angst is good too.
🎧 The narration was great. The male VA is perhaps my favorite male VA so of course I enjoyed it. The female artist did a good job too. POV was dual first person.
🌶️ 3.5/5 There are several mentions of sexual acts but only a couple explicit scenes and everything is vanilla.
🏳️🌈✊ No diversity to speak of, really. Everyone in this book seemed to be straight and white and cis.

I really liked this conclusion to the trilogy. It was tense and sad at times but ultimately really fulfilling after following these characters through the first two books.
🎧 One narrator, although there are a bunch of different POVs. She did a great job.
🌶️ 2/5 There are a few sex scenes, but they're only described in the vaguest of terms. PG/PG13 maybe?
🏳️🌈✊ So much good diversity. It's a queer normative culture with diversity in gender and sexuality. Also almost all of the characters are Black and Brown.

This was a cute YA about a young woman out for revenge and the friends she makes along the way. No spice. Lots of diversity (I think almost everyone in their cohort is a POC, plus there's at least one bi side character).
Graphic: Addiction, Bullying, Toxic friendship, Abandonment, Classism
Moderate: Drug abuse, Suicidal thoughts, Forced institutionalization, Death of parent
Minor: Fatphobia, Terminal illness, Violence, Excrement, Vomit, Colonisation, Injury/Injury detail
FMC continues to be a delightful scamp of a con woman, MMC continues to be a rule following government chump. Banter continues to be fun, heist stuff continues to be twisty.

This was a fun lil sci-fi heist that ends on lots of questions. Will have to read the other two in the trilogy before forming a concrete opinion.

This was fun! It's slightly more modern than I'm used to reading in historicals, so it was good to see women have some more independence. The plot was decent, although I felt it leaned a bit too hard on the miscommunication. And there wasn't a ton going on but this was a fairly short book anyway. There were a few spicy scenes that were good.

This book was funny and exciting and spicy and there was a talking animal companion, what more could you want???
Single 1st person POV (hers) in an MFM sitch. The narrator did a good job.
🌶️ 4.25/5 This was a spice forward book with some adventurous actions (there's three people, plus the male aliens have tails that are.... useful).
There are only two humans in the book and they're both Black women.
