If this was an entire book of essays, I would never have read it, but as a short, tiny book (71 pages and smaller than a CD) it’s perfect. It’s an essay about hearing, listening and the noises around us and in the universe. Some of it was too theoretical for me, but in general it was a good book for thinking about things I might never have otherwise thought about. I’ll probably give it to my father to read, just for brain-stretchy reasons.
