The book is an inventive, sarcastic, and inventive story of what largely feels like a Hogwarts for aspiring murderers. It followes the stories of several would be "deleters" as the book refers to them. The stories are all engaging and the characters well written.
A fun read all in all.

I haven’t loved a book this much since I read a Gentleman in Moscow. This is a book by a writer who loves books and bookstores for people whose lives have been shaped by both. I will miss these characters.
