It’s not only a “whodunit” it’s a “who is actually dead”?! I had so much fun reading this one, and just when I thought I’d figured out who was gonna end up dead, I was wrong. Unexpected twists towards the end kept me at the edge of my seat!

I love how we got each women’s vantage point and how we switched from present day to flashback.

How has this not been made into a mini series yet??

More spice than Pumpkin Spice Cafe but something was missing..  I found myself dragging my feet with this one. I enjoyed the dynamic of Logan and Jeanie in the first book more than Hazel and Noah here in the second but I will continue to read the series and see who we learn more about next.

*I read this book as an arc through NetGalley*

Charlie is running away from her drama and Grayson is a no drama kind of guy, when their two very different worlds collide sparks fly!!

This is a cute book, third in a world-building series but can be read as a stand alone. I didn’t feel confused as to who was who because the stars of the first two books were introduced properly here.

There is no outright spice, but there is implied spice - we know what they are about to and then we check in with them after.

For those that enjoy the Dream Harbor series I think you’ll like this series too!

I’m in trouble. I know there are quite a few books in this series and now I have to read them all!

This book is cozy and quaint and had me smiling and kicking my feet. There is one predictable misunderstanding scene that I saw coming from a mile away but other than that it is exactly the book I expected.

As a rom-com, chick-lit, lighthearted fiction girly this checks allllll the boxes.

I read this as an arc through NetGalley

A light read set in Louisiana at a place that is meant to sound like Walt Disney World about the grandson to a family-run company that sounds like The Walt Disney Co. Basically a famed movie studio has a theme park and is looking to create a walk through archive experience at said theme park, with artifacts and images from their famous films and while the grandson appreciate the history he truly wants no par of the business.

There is lots of playful banter between our two main characters; James and Summer though their meet-cute was a tad bit cringey to me (and so unrealistic) my introvert self could seriously never!! I am happy I stuck through and read the story because their interactions get better with every chapter!

I read this not knowing it was the 2nd in a series. This book reads as a stand alone and while I did not feel like I was missing anything,  I do think I’ll go back and read the first just out of curiosity.
