In England we meet Charlie who is openly gay at the all boys school, and Nick who by chance gets to know Charlie and quickly become close friends. And what unfolds is… boy meets boy. Boys become friends. Boys fall in love…

Gosh this series is so damn cuteeeee!!! and a fun way to get into graphic novels! This is my first book I read as a graphic novel back in 2022 originally when this series was being turned into a Netflix TV series. It’s so damn cute and heartwarming and the 5th volume coming out has been the perfect excuse to re-read the first 4 volumes! 😍

Continuing on from where we left off with the first kiss of the series! Over the next few weeks we watch the boys further grow into their relationship!

It’s gorgeous, cute and lovely! With a big dose of homophobia and a fight defending people. The pacing Oseman provides for this series is just *chefs kiss* It’s so heartwarming and realistic. This has been such a fun chance to reread and this book still holds my heart the way it did the first time!

After some big mental health revelations in Vol. 3 the journey continues further and more deeply. The conversations around mental illness, self harm and eating disorders continue and deepen. But the love continues beautifully!

Oseman does a great job at discussing really tough topics with realism but in a positive lighting which I adore! And I’m not ready for this series to end! 😩😩 rereading these first volumes has been so heartwarming so I can’t wait to finally get through the fifth and ?final volume!
