Those last 180 pages were crazy like they were so good. I was expecting more from the games which was a little disappointing and I need to say that with those last chapters, Coryo is kinda iconic yes he’s a bad person but his determination to get to where I wanted was just crazy. I would love to know what happen with Lucy that open ending for her pissed me off. Coryo saying that “She could fly around District 12 all she liked, but she and her Mockingjay could never harm him again.” Had me laughing so hard because the irony and I love that Lucy got her lick back thanks to Katniss.

This was amazing a little too long but amazing. The shit that Rand goes through in his last chapters crushed my heart. Perrin finally makes his comeback and he’s so iconic love to see him keep crowing the same with Mat. The girls were amazing as always although they get on my nerves sometimes like they get to be so unbearable sometimes. The ending was just incredible seeing the Asha’man on battle showing how strong they are and then what happens with the Aes Sedai was so satisfying to see and Rand fulfill another prophecy.

“On a day of fire and blood and the One Power, as prophecy had suggested, the unstained tower, broken, bent knee to the forgotten sign. The first nine Aes Sedai swore fealty to the Dragon Reborn, and the world was changed forever.”

It takes me some time to go through this book and I don’t feel as connected as I did with the others and I feel like I would enjoy it more if a read it at another time.

You guys don’t understand the rage, sadness, happiness, and joy this book gives me. This was a big slow burn like everything was happening so slowly and then you get to those last four hundred pages and everything goes into madness and this is one of the best endings on a book that I ever read. I think that this has the best quotes of the Cosmere,  before I forget FUCK Moash, and don’t forget life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination.

This installment was a roller coaster from the beginning to the end of the book with seeing how rand has grown as a leader and how much character development we see from him is, for me, an amazing thing. He’s my favorite character, and seeing him do all these things and learn gives me so much happiness but makes me worried about how lost he is already and this early in the saga. I love that at the end of the day, aviendha, elayne, nynaeve, min, and mat are there to help and to try to stop his madness.

Reading chapter 53 destroyed, and it took me by surprise that we lost her this early in the series and i’m still kinda in denial, and i still have hope that she may come back later on.

Solitaire attempts to delve into the complexities of teenage life but falls short of leaving a lasting impact. While it touches on relatable themes, it lacks the depth and surprises needed to truly captivate.

The novel's exploration of teenage struggles is somewhat cliché and predictable. While it may resonate with its intended audience, those seeking a more original and thought-provoking narrative might find themselves disappointed. The plot lacks surprises and fails to offer a fresh perspective on the coming-of-age themes.

Although the characters in Solitaire are well-developed, their motivations and actions could have been further explored. Their struggles and emotions are relatable to some extent, but they lack the depth and complexity that would truly make them memorable. As a result, it becomes challenging to fully invest in their journeys. The narrative lacks the spark and depth needed to make it truly compelling. It leaves readers longing for more substance and surprises to maintain their interest.

Solitaire falls short of delivering a memorable exploration of teenage struggles. Despite featuring relatable themes, the book's predictable plot and lack of depth prevent it from leaving a lasting impact. It may appeal to readers seeking a straightforward coming-of-age story, but those looking for a more profound and thought-provoking narrative may find themselves underwhelmed.

With its amazing writing, poignant exploration of family dynamics, friendship, and the challenges of self-discovery, it gracefully tackles themes of gay love, coming out, PTSD, and the beauty of the universe. As a reader, I found myself captivated by the emotional journey of the main character, Ari, and how he learns to embrace his true self while contemplating the vastness of the cosmos.

The novel delves deep into the complexities of family relationships, portraying the ups and downs of familial bonds with authenticity. Through Ari's experiences, we witness the evolving dynamics between parents and their teenage children. The unconditional love and unwavering support provided by Ari's parents beautifully highlight the significance of acceptance and understanding in nurturing a healthy environment for self-discovery.

Friendship plays a pivotal role in this story, and the connection between Ari and Dante is nothing short of extraordinary. Their friendship blossoms over a transformative summer, where they share laughter, secrets, and moments of vulnerability. The author skillfully portrays the depth and complexity of their bond, allowing readers to relish in the warmth and comfort their relationship provides. Through Ari's struggles and self-reflection, readers are invited to embark on a deeply personal exploration of identity, highlighting the importance of embracing one's true self. The novel emphasizes the significance of empathy and support when navigating the often challenging process of self-discovery.

At its core, the novel explores the magnificence of the universe and its influence on the characters' perspectives. Ari's introspection about the universe serves as a backdrop to his journey of self-discovery, offering readers a profound reflection on the interconnectedness of life, love, and the world around us.

Reading this book evoked a rollercoaster of emotions, from moments of pure joy to heart-wrenching sadness. Sáenz's writing is nothing short of amazing, effortlessly drawing readers into the lives of Ari and Dante and making their experiences feel intensely real. The author's ability to evoke empathy and emotional resonance through his prose is a testament to his exceptional storytelling.

As someone who identified with Ari's story and his struggle to come to terms with himself and his place in the universe, this book resonated deeply with me. The journey of self-discovery, the exploration of love and friendship, and the profound philosophical reflections left a lasting impact.
