One of the most dense and detailed history books about information and its knowledge throughout the ages. The facts and history of information from stone age to current AI, does portray a bleak and dark future up ahead. If history of the past was scary what comes ahead seems much more horrifying getting to know the entire big picture of information. But credit to this book in explaining and also able to know so many unique facets of information that exists in our time period and how the process of it all started and what we can expect with AI as time progresses.

Genuinely a book to understand zen in writing as well as life. Ready my first Ray Bradbury book as this one and I have no regrets and extremely excited to read more of his works. Language and how it flows is an artwork on its own. Poetic beauty in the sentences with very deep and thought provoking sentences which needs more than 1 read. Definitely will be re-reading this time to time.

As I reached the end of the audio-book it got me emotional as I have been reading and been in the middle earth from June 2024 starting with The Silmarillion. Understanding the world helped me understand each book and characters of the world overall. Middle Earth and its beautiful creation genuinely puts it in my favorite worlds to know about and also be amazed at the beauty of its built.
Frodo's too passive approach does grate my nerves but for this world full of war and conflicts he is someone required like Thorfinn's growth in Vinland Saga. Samwise Gamgee is a friend, I wish I had for life as he carries the story and Frodo at clutch moments. Merry and Pipin are the badasses required for the story and the last battle at Shire is something new for me after watching the movies.
Aragorn and all other characters were perfectly written and completed their journey perfectly.

This book made me angry and equally interested to read more of this world. My experience of Rob J Hayes book has been mixed as he tends to go towards darker aspects but equally brilliant world building and characters as well. Onwards to the next book and exploring this unique trilogy set up.

Brilliant journey with extremely well done ending for this book. The middle part of the book is where the story did drag out. As I have watched the movie and know the plotline in general the one part which is a drag is the hobbit's journey towards Mount Doom which could have paced up to be quicker. The cast getting split up and the re-introduction of Gandalf or the other hobbits getting kidnapped and coming across Tree Beard. The entire first half of Battle at Helm's Deep and characters introduced with the plot was perfect. When it did move back to the Hobbits is where the story had its ups and downs but as an overall adventure, the books have made me fall in love with Middle Earth more than the movies. Reading from Silmarillion and understanding the world makes it very lived in and fun. Onwards to the last book of the series.

Interested to read about one of the great Indian directors to have existed. This book was a good start to understanding the genius.
The original manuscript of the story was lost for the book and was put together by his wife.
It is extremely well written to understand the movie making process of a time long faded.
Must read for anyone interested to know first Indian to get an Oscar and talented in so many facets.

Brilliant start to the OG of fantasy novels and amazing narration by Andy Serkis. The story starts out slow and due to the reading of both Hobbit and Silmarillion, the world and its lore looks extremely vivid and fascinating. The reason as to why a hobbit has to carry the ring and effects of corruption caused by it makes more sense. The characters are extremely well written which doesn't need to be said by me, but the voice used by Andy Serkis for Strider aka Aragorn is brilliant than the rest. On towards Two Towers.
