Genuinely can’t think of any other word for this book other than adorable. I expected this book to be dramatic and dry, but it’s so quirky and joyful in its writing that it almost becomes satirical. You fall in love with the protagonist, Arthur Less, and can’t help but feel for him and feel like him. A book of falling in love, growing up and growing old, and finding love again.

The last chapter actually made me "Awwwww" out loud. It's been a while since a book's done that.

Didn’t realise Amazon did original stories, but here we are! Third in the Forward collection of short stories is Amor Towles’ You Have Arrivéd at Your Destination.

It’s a classic novella of nature vs nurture and reflections on the paths not taken. I quite admire Towles’ writing and liked how he put some sort of heart into this. It’s thought-provoking enough to make the reader understand the possibilities of near future (hello genetic engineering!) while contemplating the realities of human nature.
