Sicko by Amo Jones

This author kills me!

I loved that she was strong and didn’t play the victim. I liked that she didn’t let what happened to her break her spirit or her love for Sicko.

I loved that he was protective of jade and maintained his loyalty to his club, brothers and jade throughout this book.
The book itself.
I thoroughly enjoyed the storyline but it didn’t grip me like Amo’s other books.
Total honesty, I got a little confused in some scenes and skimmed through some pages within this book.
Now I love Amo, she’s one of my main go to authors and it kills me to write this but I don’t think this is one of her best works.
I don’t think this book is worthy of a trigger warning.
Amo has written darker and grittier books compared to sicko and they don’t have trigger warnings when I swear, they should.
I would personally give this book a 3.5 stars for the story line itself but because I also enjoyed the supporting characters such as Lion and Wicked, I’ve rated it 4 stars.
Overall, would I read this again? Yes. Would I recommend this book? Yes. Will I read future books if this turns into a series? Yes.
