Looking at it as a whole, I found the story very touching and like the messages it conveys. However, the book has a very slow pace, and Iām not sure I would have finished it if I hadnāt listened to the audiobook.

This book was so much fun! The main selling point is definitely the atmosphere. The ending wasnāt perfect, but for me it was all about the journey with this one.

Found out Vidal had idiotic opinions and couldnāt take a word seriously after that (which is sad because to book started really well).

I mostly started reading this book to explore my limits when it comes to disturbing literature and figure out what I like to read. The 10% I read didnāt disturb but disgusted me.
I always say that I do not reject anything on principal because everything can have a point in the right context. But this one is just repulsive and I donāt care for it.
