Anne of Green Gables is as charming as ever. I’d have given the book five stars but like a lot of books written in this time it was a bit on the preachy side. Rachel McAdams was a splendid reader for this book, managing to give it the wonder and playfulness it deserves.

As with most books of its time Dracula is exceptionally wordy and quite preachy. Otherwise the story is interesting and challenging.
