Did not finish book. Stopped at 0%.
I got a little more than halfway through (sorry I can't remember the exact page, it was a library book and I no longer have it) when I just couldn't get into it anymore. My brain just was not absorbing what I was reading, I think it's something about the writing style. I really like the series overall and want to know how it ends (tentatively -- I've heard he's writing a fourth entry in the series), but I just can't get into it right now. I'll probably give it another shot sometime, though.

I'm not the self help book type, I don't think I've ever read one and they're all peddling something, like a cult mentality or other tie in products. But I've seen this one recommended by an artist and a programmer who seem to not be the mlm-hawking Karen type, so I thought I would check it out.

I listened to an audiobook on Youtube, if an official one exists, it wasn't available at my library and the physical book was checked out. I listened to it over the course of a couple days, and found it didn't have the weird, culty vibes I get from the other self help books. I didn't fact check anything because I'm not wildly invested, but I do think a lot of the advice in the book is good on a general level. I've been using some of it to form and keep up with habits and they're mostly working so far.

As a mentally ill, disabled, and chronically ill person, 'mostly working' is good enough for me.
