Absolutely Unhinged and Amazing

Idk what the hell I just read but wow I loved it. I should of waiting till spooky season but couldn't help myself. This was a really quick read. Just 100pages. 10 chapters and an intro before reason Bloodshed.

Yet another hit by this amazing author. Absolutely in my top 5 of favorite authors. Her writing style is immaculate. Her characters and story are so well thought out. Giving you sweet spice but also an amazing plotline that keeps you hooked all the way through.

I loved Sawyer and Enzo. I'm a sucker for the " I have traumatizing past and my walls are up but I'll put them down for you" trope. The enemies to lovers was chefs kiss, seeing them both fall for each other while trying to keep up the I hate you facade.

Who was going to tell me this book had literal crack in it? This book absolutely consumed me.

Let’s get one thing straight. Stalking and breaking and entering are red flags

Edit: Our main character Sloane lives a simple life as a small town librarian. She looks forward to the same time every day when Arthur McLachlan comes to browse the shelves and cheerfully insult her. Their sparring banter is such a highlight of Sloane's day that when Arthur doesn't show up one morning, she's instantly concerned. And then another day passes, and another.

Sloane tracks the old man down and discovers him bedridden...and struggling to hide how happy he is to see her. Slowly, the lonely misfits of their sleepy town begin to find each other, and in their book club, find the joy of unlikely friendship.
