I listened to the audio while following along in ebook ...

I have to say that this is my second book by the author, and I did not know what to expect. I will admit that this one was just as memorable as Hello Beautiful!

There is something intriguing to me about how small the world truly is ... to see it written the way it was in this book, just put it into a written perspective. And I was hooked!

I loved the timeline that skipped post 'event' and during the 'event'.

This is definitely one of those books that have you thinking days after you finish reading it!

I honestly could not get enough of this, and that is the reasoning behind the rating.

The author sure knows how to rope you in and keep your attention until even after finishing the book.

I am still thinking of Lore and Samara!

I loved the way illustrations are even added into the story ... they are beautiful!

I just love the inspiration and the passion behind the author writing this [you can find it in the acknowledgments] ... and after reading it, I could just appreciate this book even more!

I am super excited to read the next book 🙌🏽

I listened to the audio while following along in my physical copy ...

This was a buddy read ...

This book may have been long-ish, but I ate this up 👏🏽 I was also a bit hesitant to read considering it was all everyone talking about last year.

I just fell in love with the MCs ... I could not get enough of them.

The characters and their banter was 🤌🏽 Add in the descriptions of when they were at war, and the descriptions of their setting, pure obsession!

I am so excited to continue this series, and am already dying knowing I have to wait a few months 🥹

I listened to the graphic audio while following along in a physical copy ...

I re-read this and am still in love 🖤

The fact that it still have thought about this book since first reading it back in 2022 says a lot!

I just loved Hawke's character ... reading his character near Penellaphe's, and then Kieran's was 🤌🏽

Re-reading has given me an inside look at all of the clues leading up to the ending of book 1. I, of course, did not remember everything, but it definitely is getting me excited to finally finish this series 🤞🏽

"It's weird, isn't it?"
"What is?"
"How it feels like I've known you longer. You feel that, too."

I wanted to completely love this, but I understood that this is a different route for our characters.

I loved Utah! He did not disappoint!

The thing that bugged me a bit was that not much happened until the very end of the book. And I do not know how to feel about that.

I loved having all of the characters together again ... the banter between them is unmatched 🤌🏽

Although I understand what is the intent of this one, I did not quite love that route because I was left wanting.

I am excited to see where this leads into the next one 🤞🏽 Hoping that everyone gets a happy ending.

I listened to the audio and do not know what to think.

This reminded me of the author's other work, which fine you have a style.

I actually felt the same way I did when I read Love on the Brain.

I figured this would have been more, considering I fell in love with the title and the cover, but yea, idk!

I listened to the audio while following along in my physical copy ...

I am not going to lie, I was so hesitant in reading this. Novellas, just like any book in a series, can make or break it.

Safe to say, this one was okay. At first, it started slow ... but a few chapters in, and I was enjoying the small insight into the other characters and their mind. Especially Cassian!

You know who I can not stand?! Nesta! Fight me!

I also can not stand the weird behavior of Elain ... like wtf?!

Hopefully this last book 'explains' or brings all of this weird behavior to a rest because I hate it!
