Maybe using the read aloud feature kinda messed up the reading experience a bit.
The story is interesting but i was frustrated with the MC getting whiplash because everyone made her the problem, and i just didnt get how she was the problem. Nearly everyone was mad at her and i just didn't get it.
I think the lore was a little confusing for me at times but i think that couldve been because of the read aloud feature. Especially since it would mispronounce names.
This is a good book and the social themes meshed well.
I'm curious and do plan om reading the sequel.

It was slow going for me at first. But once i got into it, i was INTO it. I enjoyed it. It was touching. I could see this as a movie to be honest.Good soup.
