Did not finish book.

I stopped pages into chap 2

She just got done talking about her town being filled with addiction and her dad is an alcoholic but then brings up Congo, and child soldiers. Girl, what Congo got to do with this?!
Youre worried about being an addict. 
I read further on but i dont care enough to continue, for real. So I stopped. 💁🏿

The Little Human by Marti Dumas

I started reading this last year. And never finished. It was a "sleep to this" book. But boyyyyyy did i not connect connect with this. For some reason it wasnt making sense or clicking. I dont think it has anything to do with the book really. Just me stepping away from it for so long and reading it so long. 
The twists and turns / events just didnt hit for me because i was already a little bit lost. 
But i think others would enjoy.

Out of Body by Nia Davenport

 this was interesting. 
After reading delicious monsters, out of body fit well for me. There were similar themes/ messaging that i noticed. 

I think i wanted this to be a bit longer so i can feel even more invested?
Don't get me wrong, i was. I kept having long reading sessions just to finish it. But i think it was missing a little something for me. 
But the ending was cute. 


Random thought/comments about a character- That MOFO was pissing me offff. Like get rid of em!! -

Anyways. I liked this one and would read Nia's future work.

Very much enjoyed this. But it's House work so obviously i would.

I miss where the FMC was the one constantly fumbling it though. It was both of them in my eyes. 

I wasn't sure if the use of the word "crippl3d" would be outdated. So be cautious of that if it's a trigger for you. 

Can't wait to see the title of the next one and cover art.

I didn't think i would like this as much as i did. But the last bit got this to 4 stars. I can see this as a movie or having a sequel to be honest. Nice work!
I didn't fall in love with the characters unfortunately but that's prob a me thing. I figured out some "twists" and one thing i was expexting to come up didn't. So i'm still curious about that.
But dang. Poor kids went through it! SMH.
The ending kinda made up for that for me.
