a grimoire for flippin patriarchy on its head, replete with highly specialized, esoteric language, yes, but necessary for the deconstruction of previous highly specialized, esoteric forms of thought icommonly taken for granted in academic anthropology, philosophy, and psychoanalysis at the time of its writing. The parts where Butler is talkin about their own ideas in the final chapter are a lot easier to understand than the parts where they're addressing the needlessly complex, politically motivated ideas of others, but if you have trouble understanding things, I'd recommend supplementing your reading with a study guide, or take your questions to ChatGPT.
