Where to even begin. The beginning was so captivating when I typically can’t really get locked in for a chapter or so. The entire concept was so interesting and the possibilities of it becoming a reality is scary.
Then came little hints of the dark secrets of each character, how not everyone was just someone who wanted to be parents.
Then when everything came together at the end? Oh my god I couldn’t put this book down!

I grew up on the movie and was gifted the book.
Holy hell, this book is so captivating it keeps you on the edge of your seat. The progression of her inanity and his desperation. Not just that but the ending too with him facing all this trauma. Jeez!

The beginning is a bit slow, I was kind of confused as to what was happening. It wasn’t until a third of the book when you know what’s really going on.
It’s not a bad thing, I was able to be hooked the entire book, wanting to know exactly what was going on with this freak family haha.

I did really enjoy this, I liked how it focused on the goddess and especially the fact that Hestia was added in.
Overall good information and some add in modern day comparison

I’m still a little confused as to what exactly happened.
It kind of said the creatures are close to vampires but were gargoyles but also not that. I got that they were like fly insect things?? I have no idea. It claimed it was all explained but it really wasn’t.

Overall the plot was okay. I felt like it was kind of slow paced, right away I got that Reid didn’t really give a shit about Ana and was more inconvenienced with being married to her. As the story went on I just was really not liking the characters

Honestly not my favorite. I didn’t really like any of characters in this book, couldn’t stand Maddie so every time it was her POV I kind of just rolled my eyes. I did enjoy Oliver and liked the plot. I would have dropped it but the plot was there.

Good story with some good smut. I really liked all the different characters and the fact that there was non binary characters.
The ending was good too!
