This book is incredible!! It's a must-read for Trans Folks and Allies, filled to the brim with helpful information, lots of advice and community!

Being agender, I absolutely loved seeing the stories of the enby folks who contributed to this wonderful book (as well as all the other contributors' stories!)!

Thank you so much Jamie for putting together an extensive list of resources, as well as sharing a bit more of your story!

Suffice to say, I highly recommend checking out this book!!!

Thanks to Netgalley and Zando for providing this eARC in exchange for an honest review.

The premise of this was super intriguing, and seeing as Becky Chambers was a comp author I was super excited to check this story out!

Unfortunately I had to DNF this book, I felt lost throughout and it was making the reading process not too fun, however I did like the writing style and atmosphere!

I might pick this one up again in the future, because the premise does sound so cool, but at this moment in time I just couldn't get into it.

I don't even know where to start with this review,

This book hurt so much, it was uncomfortable, painful and at the same time affirming.

More coherent thoughts to come soon.

But for now,I highly recommend this book (but not to everyone), please check the content warnings before you dive into this absolute masterpiece!!

Given the circumstances surrounding reviews for this book, I would like to preface my review with the fact that reviews are for readers. Unless a reader directly invites/tags an author, authors' should not be looking at reviews of their book.

Now that's out of the way, here are my thoughts on this book.

DNF at 30%

This book has such an interesting premise but is plagued with an overabundance of metaphors that make very little sense. I found myself constantly being pulled out of the story, as there were so many lines that were nonsensical.

I really wanted to enjoy this book, but unfortunately I did not have a great time reading it.

If you like stories that are very heavy on metaphors, and are more vibes than plot you'll probably enjoy this book.
