I read the Internal Family Systems Workbook over the course of three months while also discussing IFS in therapy and found the workbook really helpful for digging in deeper and really starting to understand the method. It’s definitely not the kind of book I could read in one sitting and it felt like a journey but I learned a lot. Most helpful I think was the definitions and how clear and straightforward the workbook is written.

Thanks NetGalley and Sounds True for the arc. All thoughts are mine!

I love a holiday romance and there’s something special about UK Christmas stories! I hadn’t read anything quite like this story before either so it felt unique and like a new perspective to the typical Christmas romances. I thought a dual POV might have suited the story more, but it was a fun read.

Overall 3.5 stars and I’d recommend it to anyone who likes hallmarky Christmas stories. Thank you NetGalley and Atria books for the arc. All thoughts are mine!

I love a Christmas romance novel and this story was so sweet. The side characters are just as important and integral to the story as the main romance characters which isn’t as common and something I really appreciated and loved.
I sometimes found the story a little slower and wordy, but overall it was the perfect romance to get me in the holiday mood!

Thanks NetGalley and Kristen Bailey for the arc! All thoughts and opinions are mine.

This book and Dallas! Ahh I have gobbled up everything Helena’s ever written, and I love pretty much all her main characters, but Dallas might be replacing Alex Waters for me as my fav Helena book-boyfriend 😍.

If You Need Me gave me a slight hiatus on my current book-slump and I seriously can’t recommend it enough. It was sweet and spicy and surprising and I need more Hemi and Dallas!!!

Thanks so much for the arc Queen-Helena. I need the next book in this standalone series ASAP 😂

I am so in love with this book!! I loved the revenge plot / retelling and all of the Pakistani culture. The writing was so well done - I could smell all the yummy food and feel all the textures and clothes she described.

The romance was this lovely surprise of many tropes and was filled with so much anticipation. I couldn’t put it down. And the friendship with Noor was refreshing and I really hope we get a Noor story!!

I’m in awe that For She is Wrath is a debut book and highly recommend!! Thanks so much to Wednesday books for the arc! Emily Varga is a new must-read author for me!

This series has been such a treat from what I usually read, and it continues to remind me of x-men or some kind of marvel series! 🥰

The book really expanded the characters world and introduces us to so much we didn’t know / see in book one. But overall most of the book felt a lot cozier and we really got to know our main characters on a deeper level.

Of course the action picked up the last bit of the book, and that ending has me wanting book three asap so I can see where the whole gang will end up!

Gosh this was a tough and emotional read (major TW: cancer). But I appreciated the story and stuck with Eve on her cancer journey. In fact, I couldn’t put it down. It was raw, real, funny, memorable and of course heartbreaking.

I remember when Sophie shared her cancer journey on social media and I cried a little. I’m so thankful she was able to write this, and I hope she continues to be able to write and that she gets her forever happy ending.
