This was such a fun reread.

I really needed to be reminded of just how lacking the movies were and how much they contributed to my development as a young adult. Now that I've done a full reread as an adult, I look at these books and the years that I originally read them with such love and fondness.

If only JKR wasn't a horrible person.

This book was... fine.

The plot was all over the place, the interaction between the characters was strange, who the characters were was strange, but the smut was really good

Nooooooo, not the dreaded pregnancy trope!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This was a 4 star book, damn it!!!

Wanted to DNF 25% of the way in, forced myself to finish.

I was hoping this would be comparable to the The Dirty Air Series by Lauren Asher and I was sadly disappointed.

And I say this as someone who is a sucker for a "playboy turned good but only for one girl" trope.

Spoiler
1. Writing characters that speak broken English feels... racist.
2. Oh goody, a 23 year-old virgin FMC who is so incredibly oblivious to the obvious
3. Oh goody x2, a MMC who is just so incredibly dense
4. Horrible formatting
5. Horrible editing
6. Oh yeah, and age gap, miscommunication trope, and pointless trauma to justify bad behavior. Sigh.

I see why this was a Wattpad book.

Omg, this is seriously some twisted shit but I cannot stop reading.

This was my absolutely favorite flavor of misogyny.

I think this was definitely tailored more toward younger women, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

It did get a tad repetitive at times, but it was a solid and reflective book.

1) Therapy for men.
2) My friends to lovers heart is happy.
