eh. this book gave me blue balls.

I got this book for 50p and im glad I didn't pay full price for it tbh. it was largely underwhelming and incredibly dull at times (there were so many info dumps disguised as lectures that I did not at all care for) and there was nothing that especially wowed me. dan brown's writing of sophie also did little to impress me if you know what I mean.

I bought this book such a long time ago, so I figured it would only be fair if I read it. I didn't really love it tbh. I don't like how much time the story spends in the past, and how little time is actually spent on Earth with the 100. It felt like there was a group of about 10 people on Earth, rather than 100 (well, 90 ish). I felt it would have been much more interesting to have more of the story dedicated to exploring Earth (the most interesting part was the last page ffs)

I did like how there was the split between people living on Earth and on the Colony (?) as it was deteriorating, I thought that was good.

All the guys in this book can perish I don't care for any of them.

i finally read this book after all the hype kat and rosie gave about it, and honestly, i think it would have been better for me if i had read it in 2016. i think it would have been reassuring for me then to have read this book and known that it was okay to do what i was doing, yaknow? anyway this book was very good and the first time i think ive ever seen an ace main character, which was very cool (also really makes me wanna finish writing my podcast) defo gonna read more of alice's work :D
