The third book is significantly different from the beginning of the seires. The problems of both women are deeper, darker, the world they live in is more violant than ever and they are not naive anymore. With that said I also feel it got a bit too slow and that's why I only give it 4 stars. It is still a brilliant book though. Can't wait to finish the series 👀

I can't really explain the depths of this book. You just have to read it, live it and think about it yourself. While the first book was interesting and I truly loved it! this one is next level. It's so deep and it tells so many little details about the life in Neapol without actually saying words like mafia. I can't recommend this enough. Just read it, will you ?

My Brilliant Friend is a book that represents everything I love about reading. It tells a story of one little part of Naples and the people who live there. The beauty of the book is that everyone is as grey as a real person is, with all the little things that make us good and bad. It's about friendship, envy, love and mostly about the desire to be different then the previous generation. If you enjoy character driven books, this is a must read. I honestly can't wait to read the next book in the series 💛

"Be worthy of love, and love will come."

There was something so calming about every sentence in Little women. I never knew that such a simple story can make this wonderful of a book.

The story is all about four sisters who are very different but still there is something that they have in common.

Every day they try to be the best version of themselves and sometimes they do, sometimes they fail. But there is one person who can make it all better in anytime - their mother.

Some might say the story is outdated and I believe that it is one way to look at all the moral advices in the book. And to be fair it can get a little boring in some parts.

But my point of view is, that the story can help a woman to realize, that she can be whoever she wants, as long as she is the best version of herself and that nothing worthy comes easy into our lives. Even love or friendship.

I recommend this book to everyone who just wants to see the world as pure as it can be through eyes of four March sisters

The story told by Tara left me in disbelief. She never knew when her birthday is, she didn't have a birth certificate but most importantly she never went to school.
The details described in the book will left you speechless and I am gonna leave it up to you to find them out. But after all the abuse, pain and self-hatred, she discovered education and made it to Harvard.
The book itself is written in a way that's highly addictive. The story naturally flows and you wanna scream at the people most of the time as you feel Tara's fear and her tendency to come back home because she just can't be so different.
Tara symbolises a woman that was taught that she is unclean just by simply existing and she is worthy of almost nothing. She believed for a majority of her life that school is gonna destroy her mind and God will never help her again if she takes a medicine. And she proved them wrong.
But the book isn't about Mormonism, or her family in particular being evil and I love that about it. Tara simply tries to understand all of it. Understand that this is not the only way of Mormonism. That there is a completely different world once you leave Buck's peak and it might not be all evil.
With all that said it really gave me a new perspective on my life and the abilities we all have. Educated will teach you that you can do anything. You just need to be prepared for it to be hard.
