It took about a third of the book to really get into it, but once I did I devoured it! This book is dark and violent and bloody: no cute, spritely fairies to be found here. Jude is a compelling and powerful complicated female hero, which I really enjoyed reading. Super excited for the next installment.
DEFINITELY an #unpopularopinion but I just didn’t love this. I was so bored up until the fourth part. I think the commentary on the Urban Indian is important and I learned a lot, but I’m a plot-driven reader 9 times out of 10 and this book just didn’t have a driving plot until the end.
