I think I enjoyed this book. I’m not sure. I was extremely excited for this & picked it up the second I saw it in stores. I’ve paced myself with it, wanting to absorb every nuance and word written. But I just can’t say that it was as strong as I was hoping for. It fell extremely flat at times, and for the entire year long program section, so majority of the book, I was waiting for it to be over. It’s very thought provoking and interesting at the least. I can definitely see what Jessamine was trying to do. I don’t know if it necessarily worked for me.

little weirds is one of those books I’ve always wanted to read but never got around to it and maybe it’s bc I’ve never been ready to read it and now I have read it and I think I would’ve always have been ready bc there’s never a time in which I won’t need to hear what is said in this

okay, so, well, alright, I mean, like -- anyway. really enjoyed this. it's one of those books that i'd never pick up if it wasn't recommended to me. not rly my thing. but it's short, beautifully written, and made me cry at least twice. thank you so much to the nice older jewish women who told me to get this book. it will stick with me for a long time
