I think this is my favorite Emily Henry book, though i still really enjoy people we meet on vacation and book lovers. January and August are extremely charismatic leads and they are fleshed out in a way you don’t always see in romance novels. My only qualm is that I wish we got to know the side characters a bit better because the little moments that we do get with them make me want to know them better. Overall, a quality reading experience and a memorable one at that.

Definitely can see the Lispector influence in her writing style. She's got a good voice sadly I did not find the material compelling and I felt that the stories could of been told in a less pedantic way. Overall I think I'd like to read another book by Jenny Slate because she clearly has potential, I just think her editor needs to step in more to guide her.
