i did not finish this book. i did not love it. i know everyone else loves it. sometimes you read a book that everyone else loves and you don't love it and you think "well clearly everyone else is an idiot." well that is not what happened here. i know i am the freak here. i can see why everyone else loves this book. but alas, it was not for me. i think i would have loved it if i were a kid/teen when i first read it, but at 30 i slogged through 2/3 of the book before giving up. i am ashamed. i'm sorry. still giving it four stars.
One of my favorite books I have read in a long time.
