I didn’t expect this book to be a YA coming of age story, and I don’t think I’m really the target audience for this kind of story. I enjoyed the worldbuilding around dragons. I had some trouble connecting with the characters, but Theod ended up charming me at the end. The next book seems like it will be interesting following the setup of this one.
