“Before the Coffee Gets Cold” meets any Studio Ghibli film ever made with a insta romance plot and you have this book.
Possibly a book I would read over and over and over again.
Thank you PRH/Del Rey for the ARC!

Definitely felt slow during the first half of the book but it really picks up in the second half.
I think this book could’ve benefited a lot more on the mystery factor because we get so many different perspectives at different times in the book, that we quickly learn who the character is and what was going on in their head as soon as we wonder what happened. It could’ve benefited a lot more if it was dual POV with Zach and Ryker. Maybe everyone else’s POV could’ve been a novella, who knows?
Overall, a pretty easy read for a sci-fi story. Also curious to see more of this world in the future!

Fun, easy read, very much nonsense while tying in a ftm perspective.
Also moves pretty fast and made me giggle and kick my feet. No notes. Just wish there was more making fun of Italians.
