In true Elizabeth Roubaix fashion, this was... Bonkers in the best way. Heroine gets DPed by men wearing Anubis and Min masks and somehow it's all I ever wanted?

This was sweet, it dragged a bit at the end but overall I enjoyed the heroine wanting to better other women's lives and the tortured hero was worthy. Every time the hero shouts the heroine's name in a disgruntled way, take a drink.

Audiobook with MJW was excellent of course but I wasn't buying her American accent.

What are you doing step bro? I can't believe TB made stepsiblings not hot. Augh. I cannot with this book. Maybe it's me but step relations doesn't seem like the earth shattering taboo it's being made out to be. Also is this book sponsored by Sephora? Don't pay your rent, buy eye creams instead.

Cliche tropes and self insert could be forgiven if the spice be spicing but for a daddy book, it wasn't it.

Excellent bonkersville that only Flora Foxglove can deliver. Horniness overtakes the angst and cheating into one big party.

Thanks to Stevie Sparks for the review copy and this is my honest review.

This novella was a breath of fresh air, it's set after the Great War with later in life main characters finding love unexpectedly. It's class difference with the "toff" hero bringing the struggling heroine into his house to provide for her because her brother saved his life many times during the war. Of course they ended up falling in love.

He also loveee being on his knees and serve "his lady" with the power reversal light femdom. Most excellent, he's got impeccable manners, a consent king, and a good boy.

Expect light angst, some grieving and steaminess from the short novella.

This was a good mix of light-hearted and trademarked Tessa Dare humour with the tortured characters finding love together. I wanted to laugh and cry all at once. Absolutely beautiful and MJW narration is perfection as always.

This had a lot going on there's a mystery, there are families and people, the country side is wild. I basically read it in one sitting though and was at the edge of my seat the whole time.

I love this hidden identity plot line, it's the right about of cozy country management and some shady plot of brothels, blackmails and dueling. It is HOT in only Hoyt can delivers, most based and primal. Also the characters are hilariously loveable.
