Ashley doesn't miss for me. I love a good unreliable narrator with past and present timelines! Academic vibes, with a sort of twisted found family, who'd turn on each other at any moment. Found myself wanting to pick this up often. I'd read anything AW writes!!

The easiest 5 stars I've given in such a long time. Abby Jimenez is always going to be an auto buy author for me. She is so incredible talented at creating real issues throughout her novels that make the characters incredibly relatable. She keeps things light and fluffy but adds in emotional, everyday struggles. If you can relate to those struggles or not, she always pulls at the heartstrings. The character development for both the FMC and MMC is so real and she shows in this novel especially that sometimes you have to work on yourself before you can love someone unconditionally. I am not the biggest romance girlie but I love Justin and Emma sooo much! My favorite AJ novel to date  ❤️

I hate giving out 1 star but this was just not well written. The multiple POVs and story lines were too much and very predictable. The MC was not someone I could root for and a side character got a terrible storyline that made no part of this 'good'. The plot had so much potential and it just fell flat.
