Alright alright, I enjoyed this one. The ending was pretty good, not what I expected which was refreshing as I usually guess twists! I would say this is like a 3.5 overall but I’m rounding up because I enjoyed the book overall and it did keep me interested throughout.
T. S. Eliot Selected Poems by T.S. Eliot

This poetry collection... wow. Now I’ve read a lot of classic literature in my time but I’m no novice and this collection was ROUGH to get through. I kept picking it up and putting it back down because I simply was not enjoying it. There were some great poems in here, maybe three overall that I really enjoyed. And those were FANTASTIC. But the rest were so very Meh that it confused me. His poems seemed almost preachy at times, so much god thrown in every other word I was not into it at all and a lot of his works had some underlying tones that I don’t vibe with (misogyny??? HELLO) overall I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this to someone looking for a poetry collection to read and enjoy but this would be so cool to look into regarding beliefs and society’s structure at the time it was written.

What an interesting little book. I read it in one sitting and the story was so ambiguous and beautifully written. I really enjoyed the overall read of this book and I am looking forward to reading more from Murakami.

Pretty good, quick read. Some poems seemed repetitive but enjoyable overall.
