Wow. No words can summary this book justly. The writing, the vocabulary, the very original plot, the over 500pgs with no read dry spots, the raw humanity in the characters, the fantasy theme woven through historically accurate and culturally relevant issues. 10/10. I will be rereading this book.

The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck: A Counterintuitive Approach to Living a Good Life by Mark Manson

Not for me. This is the absolute  beginner level of any self-development, so I’m sure it’s good for someone young or not far along and I won’t rate it poorly for that reason. If you’re comfortable with yourself, understand what boundaries are and why they are important, skip this book. Very fluffy no depth.

Shutter island vibes. I suspected the ending but there were so many unseen twists it was never obvious. Great pace in things unfolding.

This may be one of my favorites of the year. So many different stories woven in- nothing polished over or suddenly wrapped up neatly. This may be the best paced and satisfying end to a novel I’ve ever read.
