Killers of a Certain Age by Deanna Raybourn

I like to imagine that every late middle-age to Denny's-discount-breakfast-enjoyer keeps a tab of cyanide next to their Werther's hard candies. This book was funny, but fell a bit flat for me. Maybe I spent too much time casting a movie in my head while I read... Helen Mirren comes to mind.

Well, I finished it! Disheartening that it was a page turner in the sense that I trudged through (in record time).

Informative and profound at times but ultimately not my cup of tea. No bees in my bonnet about it though.
