I won an advanced copy of this book in a Goodreads giveaway and read it in one lazy day. The characters are interesting and charming, and the fact that this is an #ownvoices novel only further endears Khai, one of the lead characters who is on the autism spectrum, to the reader. The only reason I awarded this book four stars instead of five is because if its somewhat overly simplistic plot; the ultimate result is clear from the beginning. However, it’s certainly a fun read along the way, and I would highly recommend it.
