Above are just a few tropes that you can find within AGGGTM, and I promise you will not be disappointed.

I was worried that when picking up the book I’d be dissatisfied and disappointed as books that are incredibly hyped up don’t always meet the expectations and often turn out to be anything but enjoyable. I am however, overjoyed to say that this book DID live up to the hype. If I could give this book more than a five star rating, I would.

Holly Jackson, you are an incredible author and I am in love with your writing. You have a talent that deserves so much recognition and appreciation, and I am so glad you’re getting it.

This was my first murder mystery story in a physical form, and while I was sat there creating theories in my mind and getting them wrong, I was discovering that nothing was ever as it seemed. With twists and turns, my mind was forever reeling with desperation to find out the truth.

Words cannot express just how shocked I was when I found out who the murderer was, and I cannot WAIT to read the second book.

If you’re looking for something good and something that’ll keep you on the edge of your seat, this book is PERFECT for you.

Finally, Ravi Singh, I love you.

A Lady's Guide to Scandal by Sophie Irwin

Thank you to NetGalley and Penguin Random House for allowing me to read this book, unfortunately it wasn’t for me.

I went into this book extremely excited to read, I had seen so many positives about this author and so many others excited for this book, but I was truly disappointed.

For a book that I was expecting scandal, romance and secrecy, I was met with a slow paced story that constantly mentioned a woman who was widowed and certain things were expected of her.

I’m a sucker for a second chance story that involves force proximity and love triangles, and yet where was the romance? It was clear that Eliza had no feelings for her first husband, why couldn’t the build up to romance happen a little quicker?!

Melville in my opinion came across as extremely fake, the group of people Eliza and Margaret met with most nights were extreme gossips and Somerset deserved happiness.

I think if the pacing was faster, I could’ve enjoyed this, but I found myself forcing myself to pick the story up rather than wanting to pick it up.

Once again, thank you for the ARC, and I truly wish Sophie the best of luck when this publishes!

Before I start, I am warning you that you WILL cry at the end of this book, and if you don’t, it’s confirmed that you don’t have. A heart. I am not okay. This book ruined me and I feel so empty now I’ve finished it.

What started off as a story about one couple turned into a story about soulmates, and I will forever love the forever for giving Danielle Seth.

I was lucky enough to recieve this as an arc however due to my health I was unable to review the story in time let alone finish it for the book tour. Despite this, I have bo finished the story and it’s one I wish I carried on reading and never finished because my heart is in tiny litttle pieces on the floor.

Danielle and Seth are a beautiful couple and their story will live on forever despite the circumstances they have both had to face. Seth and Danielle will forever find one another in the next life, the life after that, and the life after that. I am sure of it.

If you’re looking for a story that will have you wanting to scream at the author, hug the characters and end up in a portfolio with fictional characters, then this is for you.

Open your heart to this wonderful story, you will not regret it.

Thank you to the author for allowing me to have an ARC!

Thank you to NetGalley for allowing me to read this as an arc however I struggled enjoy the story itself.

I was expecting it to be a little faster with romance being the main aspect however, I felt that the story was extremely slow paced and more focused on the past rather than the future.

David is an incredible writer, but the story wasn’t for me.

This is the first book of Emily’s that I’ve read and it did not disappoint! I have so many feeling for now that I’ve finished the book and one of them is honestly just wanting to hug my kindle close to me until the happy swell in my heart settles.

The dynamic and chemistry between Nora and Charlie is perfect, and they deserve the absolute world. I love how they understood one another like no one else did, and I love that neither of them tried to change one another, both of them were good enough for one another, despite all their flaws and worries.

The tension between one another was excruciating and I was desperate for Charlie and Nora to finally say ‘fuck it’ but I’m also happy with how things progressed between one another and how their first time happened, it was beautiful and absolutely perfect.

Finally, I absolutely loved loved loved the dynamic between Libby and Nora! Their relationship is absolutely beautiful and it’s one I admire massively. They’re incredible sisters together and I’m glad they both got their happy endings.

Unladylike Lessons in Love by Amita Murray

My heart breaks writing this review because I had such high expectations for this book, and while I really enjoyed it at some points, I didn’t at others, and in the end, it put me into a slump.

Don’t get me wrong, Amita in an incredible writer who clearly has a talent in telling stories, especially ones like this. But her writing isn’t for me, I found the pace of the story itself too fast and the plot predictable. I was left waiting for the other shoe to drop and it never did leaving me able to guess things easily.

Despite my comments above, please note that this story is a period mystery and while I may of not finished it, someone else will, and they will love this book. There’s plenty of tension to go off from Lila and Ivor, and your heart will leap massively when that tension is acted upon,

Thank you NetGalley for allowing me to read this arc, and I apologise for not being able to finish it,

Good luck, Amita!
